Position Description:
Ryder is immediately hiring a Group Logistics Manager I for our Supply Chain Solutions division in Lockbourne, OH. This leadership role involves managing the financial, operational, and employee aspects of multiple logistics accounts. The successful candidate will ensure profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee development across multiple locations.
Annual Salary: $130,000 based on experience
Bonus Incentive: Up to 18.75% of salary annually
Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid twice per month
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or an additional 2 years of relevant experience required
- Master's degree in related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related industry
- 5+ years managing large multi-level teams
- 3+ years implementing logistics solutions and project management
- Experience in a LEAN environment, P&L responsibility, and customer KPI management preferred
- Advanced knowledge of truck brokerage, Ryder Safety Programs, RD2000 system, Ryder pricing models, and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial, operational, and staffing performance across multiple logistics accounts
- Lead employee development through goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and training
- Maintain staffing levels, ensure proper hiring, and reduce overtime usage
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with Ryder’s safety and financial reporting systems
- Lead initiatives to improve location processes and conduct regular self-audits
- Oversee SOX compliance, customer invoicing, and revenue recognition
