Account Executive

Job Summary:

US Foods is seeking a Sales Account Executive to manage and grow existing customer relationships. This role involves driving sales, increasing product penetration, and ensuring profitability. The Account Executive will lead a unified sales team, including Customer Service Representatives and Account Coordinators, to provide exceptional service and alignment with customer contracts. This position demands a strong track record in sales and in-depth knowledge of products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customer relationships through regular personal visits and follow-up.
• Achieve annual sales targets by expanding product penetration in existing accounts.
• Present new products and vendor offerings to encourage account growth and loyalty.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of the sales team to ensure optimal service and compliance.
• Communicate performance, trends, and updates with customers via regular business reviews.
• Oversee service delivery, order management, and pricing accuracy for assigned accounts.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, food shows, and conferences.
• Set up and support the rollout of new customer accounts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of sales or distribution experience; foodservice industry experience preferred.
• Experience in restaurant operations and use of quantitative/qualitative research data is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel frequently; field time is expected to be at least four days per week.

Benefits:

Compensation for this role ranges from $55,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, education, and location. US Foods offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
